Take Me To The Water

The Wild Women SUP Symposium returns to the spectacular Scottish Highlands in 2026, inviting women from across Europe to spend an unforgettable weekend exploring Scotland's stunning lochs while developing their stand-up paddleboarding skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Organised by Barrachou Go!, the symposium is much more than a paddleboarding event. It is a celebration of adventure, confidence and community, bringing together women who share a passion for the outdoors, whether they are experienced paddlers or looking to take the next step in their SUP journey.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the West Highlands, participants will enjoy professionally guided paddles, experiencingthe magic of Scotland's West Coast with river SUP adventures and a stunning distance paddle around Castle Tioram. Paddle through breathtaking Highland scenery, improve your skills, and discover one of Europe's most beautiful stand-up paddleboarding destinations.

Every session is designed to help women become more confident paddlers while creating lasting friendships with others who share a love of adventure.

The weekend also includes outdoor cooking demonstrations, evening social gatherings and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere that has made the Wild Women SUP Symposium such a popular event.

"The Wild Women SUP Symposium is about much more than learning paddleboard skills," says Helen Trehoret, founder of Barrachou Go!. "It's about inspiring women to challenge themselves, discover incredible places and become part of a supportive international paddling community. Many participants arrive on their own and leave with lifelong friends and the confidence to continue exploring Europe's outdoor space."

The symposium forms part of Barrachou Go!'s SUP Adventures in Europe programme, which offers guided paddleboarding experiences in Scotland, Norway and France, combining world-class scenery with professional coaching and unforgettable adventures.
