Woodsman & AuthorRay Mears
Ray Mears is a motivational speaker, photographer and television presenter, recognised as a leading expert in the skills of bushcraft and survival around the world.
In 1983 Ray founded Woodlore, Britain's first School of Wilderness and Bushcraft. He is best known for TV series including Ray Mears Bushcraft, Wild Britain with Ray Mears and Extreme Survival — and in 2010 was asked by Northumbria Police to help track fugitive killer Raoul Moat.
Ray is currently filming a new series for History Hit and writing his next book, ahead of a UK tour in Autumn 2027. Catch him live on the Inspiration Stage across the show.
