Photography Competition — Terms & Conditions

  1. Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees of Raccoon Media Group and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  2. Entrants must be the sole owner of the copyright in any photograph submitted, and must have obtained the permission of any identifiable people appearing in the image before submitting.
  3. By submitting a photograph, you confirm the image is your own original work and has not been submitted to any other competition in a way that would restrict our rights as set out below.
  4. If your photograph is selected, you grant Raccoon Media Group a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce your photograph in the OutdoorXpo coffee-table photography book (including copies offered for sale), and to use it across our social media channels and website, with full credit given to you as the photographer.
  5. The book may be offered for sale. No royalties, fees or other payment will be payable to the photographer in connection with any sale of the book or other use of the photograph under these terms; full credit will be given in all cases.
  6. You retain full copyright ownership of your photograph. We will not use your image for any other commercial purpose beyond what's described in these terms without contacting you first.
  7. Selected photographers will receive one complimentary copy of the finished book. No cash alternative is offered.
  8. Selection of photographs for publication is at the sole discretion of Raccoon Media Group. We reserve the right not to select any submission that doesn't meet the required standard, or that we consider unsuitable for any reason.
  9. We reserve the right to request a high-resolution version of your photograph if selected, and to make minor edits (such as cropping) for layout purposes.
  10. Personal details submitted with your entry will only be used to administer this competition and will be handled in line with our privacy policy.
  11. We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to withdraw the competition, at any time.
  12. Submission of a photograph constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
